CleanTX DFW Chapter Leadership


Chris Squitieri, DFW Chapter Chair

Chris serves as Chair of CleanTX’s DFW Chapter. Professionally, he helps guide sales efforts at TransGlobal Services, which provides surveying and land services to asset developers. Prior to TransGlobal, Mr. Squitieri worked as an alternative asset investment analyst, specialized in acquiring middle market, B2B service companies.

Outside of CleanTX and TransGlobal, Chris is typically driving around DFW to try new BBQ places, jogging or hiking across Texas, or traveling with his friends and family. He is an avid New York Giants fan, despite living in Fort Worth.


Zack Overfield, Strategic Partner Chair

Zack is HDR’s Cultural Resources Practice Leader for the South Central Region and a Senior Archaeologist / Principal Investigator. He has more than 13 years of experience in cultural resources management, ensuring that projects successfully navigate the National Environmental Policy Act, Clean Water Act, National Historic Preservation Act, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Over that last several years, Zack has managed major archaeological investigations in support of environmental compliance requirements for many utility-scale solar and wind projects across Texas, Nebraska, and the Southeast. Zack is passionate about renewable energy and cultural resources management and the role environmental compliance plays in preserving the past while ensuring a clean energy future. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a MA in Anthropology and Stephen F. Austin State University with a BA in Sociology with an Anthropology Emphasis. In addition, Zack is an active member of the Council of Texas Archaeologists and is a Registered Professional Archaeologist.


Ramsey Ayass, GridNEXT DFW Co-Chair

Ramsey Ayass is an electrical power systems engineer with over 13 years of industry experience. Much of his career has been spent working with electric utilities, covering various roles including Transmission Planning, Generation Interconnection, Distribution Planning and Transmission Engineering. He has held leadership roles at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), as well as Oncor Electric Delivery. For the last 8 years, he has specialized in resource integration, primarily in ERCOT, CAISO and the Western Interconnection.

Ramsey Ayass is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the states of California and Texas. He has a strong foundation in electric system planning and was instrumental in the development of standards and procedures for studying a large volume of new generation on the transmission/distribution service provider (TDSP) side. Since 2009, he has built relationships with leaders in the industry, ranging from: developers, utilities, consultants, ISO’s/RTO’s as well as governmental and regulatory agencies.


JC Culberson, III, GridNEXT Dallas Co-Chair

JC Culberson boasts a wealth of experience in the areas of NERC and regulatory compliance, transmission operations, RTO/ISO operations and planning, and ERO operations, with extensive NERC compliance consulting expertise related to the Transmission Operator, Reliability Coordinator, Balancing Authority, Transmission Owner, Transmission Planner, Generator Owner, and Generator Operator functional entities. JC has managed and led numerous system operations and compliance departments in the energy industry, with a record of successful implementation of compliance processes and system operations for these entities. Additionally, JC possesses a great deal of experience in ISO/RTO operations, training, and situational awareness. JC is fluent in English and moderately fluent in the Arabic language.


Matt Matyjek Community Coordinator Co-Chair

Matt started his career in public affairs in Washington DC, working with Fortune 100 firms in the energy sector, and has worked with climate tech companies in the utility, VC, EV, energy storage, hydrogen, and solar industries since 2017. He is currently an account director at Redwood Climate Communications. A graduate of Georgetown University, Matt earned a degree in government and a minor in theology, and worked on 2010 midterm and 2012 presidential campaigns as an intern. It is at Georgetown that he developed a keen interest in everything related to energy. A space history enthusiast, he is particularly passionate about the role that satellite technology can play in combating and adapting to climate change.


Keely McNeme, Community Coordinator Co-Chair

Keely is a young PR professional currently an account executive at Redwood Climate Communications. She completed her undergraduate triple-major in Corporate Communication and Public Affairs, Political Science, and International Studies at Southern Methodist University and will receive her bachelor’s degrees in May 2023. In school and previous internships, Keely cultivated her interest in other climate-focused community initiatives as well as broader, international cooperation around climate policies worldwide. She currently lives near University Park.
