Austin Energy is soliciting proposals for the following products:
- Long-term purchase of wind generated energy from new facilities to be constructed, existing facilities in current operation or repowered wind facilities
- The short term purchase of wind generated energy
- The purchase of wind generated energy combined with other generation sources
- The stand-alone purchase of Renewable Energy Credits
The planned schedule is as follows:
Issue RFP: Thursday, October 6, 2016
Deadline for emailed questions: 5:00 p.m. CT on Tuesday, October 25, 2016
RFP responses due: 2:00 p.m. CT on Thursday, November 17, 2016
Austin Energy will review proposals and arrive at a short list of proposals to consider for further evaluation. Short-listed proposers may be contacted to provide additional information and documentation regarding their proposals.
Proposers must submit their proposal(s) electronically by the deadline. Proposal format and requirements are described in the RFP.
During the RFP process, any and all questions regarding the RFP must be submitted via email. Any questions submitted after October 25, 2016 will not be reviewed or answered.
