Join CleanTX on October 1st at 12:00 pm CT for a special webinar exploring the transformative impact of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (IIJA). This $1.2 trillion investment in U.S. infrastructure has already directed $14.2 billion to over 350 projects in Texas, spanning energy, transportation, and clean water. Learn how key Texas organizations are using these federal funds to drive clean energy advancements, grid innovation, and bolster community resilience, .
Texas Solar For All (SFA) Coalition: Awarded $249.7 million from the EPA, SFA aims to expand solar access across Texas, promoting equity and wealth through energy savings, job creation, and community resilience. The program supports residential solar, battery storage, energy efficiency, and workforce training, prioritizing minority- and women-owned businesses.
Clean Energy Fund of Texas (TxCEF): Partnering with Texas Southern University’s Bullard Center, TxCEF will receive $156 million from the EPA to advance solar and energy storage projects in low-income communities. These efforts reduce emissions, lower utility costs, and empower communities through solar development.
CPS Energy: With $30.2 million from DOE’s GRIP program, CPS Energy will enhance grid resilience by optimizing distributed energy resources, deploying microgrids, solar, battery storage, and smart grid technologies. The project aims to meet San Antonio’s growing energy demands while ensuring a reliable, sustainable grid.
