The CleanTech Fellows Program, offered by the CleanTech Group, is a selective leadership initiative designed to provide exceptional Texas MBA students with hands-on experience and in-depth industry knowledge in the cleantech sector.

  • Participants dedicate 10-15 hours per week to working with a company of their choice, gaining valuable professional experience.

  • They meet periodically with other fellows to check in, attend speaker series, and discuss industry developments.

  • The program offers invaluable opportunities to build relationships with industry experts and growing companies.

The CleanTech Group is a student organization at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, dedicated to preparing future leaders for the global economy's shift towards cleaner technologies.

The organization provides a platform for graduate business students to collaborate with alumni, faculty, and industry experts to ensure a reliable, affordable, and low-carbon future for all.

 
 

Mckenna is a second-year MBA candidate at UT’s McCombs School of Business, focused on developing a career in decarbonization & sustainability strategy. She has seven years of experience across multiple industries in manufacturing & operational excellence. At McCombs, Mckenna co-leads the CleanTech Fellowship program, serves as the VP of Allyship for eQual MBAs, and gives back to the school as part of the McCombs Ambassador Committee. She is passionate about sustainable living, both at home and from a corporate perspective, and coordinated several of this year’s Earth week events for McCombs students.

Mckenna earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.A. in Music from the University of Oklahoma. On the weekends you can find her volunteering with Keep Austin Fed and teaching Zumba.
