Dr. Femi Osidele provides pragmatic solutions to businesses in the water and renewable energy industries. He spent 12 years at Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, where he rose to the position of Senior Research Engineer responsible for regulatory compliance assessments of various nuclear energy facilities nationwide. In his seven years of service on EPA’s National Advisory Council for Environmental Policy and Technology, he led three working groups on sustainability, citizen science, and strategic workforce planning, and produced more than 60 national policy recommendations to the EPA administrator. As a technical expert for the Austrian Climate & Energy Fund, he has evaluated nearly four million euros worth of research grant proposals from European institutions on climate change mitigation and adaptation. Dr. Osidele is currently co-Chair of the Steering Committee for SA Climate Ready, where he also coordinates the Energy & Buildings Technical Working Group. He holds a doctorate in Forest Resources and Environmental Systems Analysis, Masters degrees in Hydrology and Global Energy Management, and a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
