Tony Giustino
Operations Director, Clean Energy, Americas,
Wood.

Tony is responsible for heading up Wood’s Clean Energy operations in the Americas and hails from the Austin, Texas office. Along with business development functions, Tony provides advisory support on a various wind and solar projects throughout the project lifecycle. His team is trusted by some of the largest investment banks for providing risk assessment and mitigation in renewable energy project finance. Clean Energy Americas also provides development support and owner’s engineering services for a variety of developers as well as operational services for owner-operators. Tony has a range of experience including solar, onshore wind, and offshore wind during all stages of project life: feasibility, pre-construction, construction, operational and decommissioning. He has helped close over $5BB of non-recourse project financing around the world.

Tony joined Wood after almost six years of managing project finance due diligence at DNV GL. Before joining the renewables industry Tony was a commissioned officer and pilot in the United States Air Force. His military experience includes squadron command as well being an instructor pilot in multiple aircraft. He was a Charles Stark Draper Fellow and holds a Master of Science in aerospace engineering from M.I.T. and a Bachelor of Science in engineering and a minor in Spanish from the United States Air Force Academy. He also earned an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is fluent in Spanish and Italian with familiarity in Russian, Portuguese and French.
