Mark Klein

Mark Klein is Chief Operating Officer and managing partner with Broad Reach Power. Mark has 35 years’ experience in the renewable and conventional electric markets, natural gas markets, North American oil markets, and international coal markets.
Prior to his time at Broad Reach Power, Mark was the co-owner of a solar development company and the owner of an energy consulting company. As a consultant for over 10 years, he provided analytic solutions and support to utilities, investors, merchant generators, and developers domestically and internationally. He also spent twenty years as a vice president of electricity and natural gas trading with two major US west coast utilities.
Mark has both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho and Washington State University respectively and he is a registered Professional Engineer (Texas).
