Jason co-founded Go Smart Solar in an effort to lower the cost of solar, promote the mass adoption of solar generation and improve the user experience through innovative business models. Jason’s 15+ years of clean energy experience ranges from large utility scale systems and distributed generation to the development and execution of utility integrated solar programs. Currently, Jason focuses on distributed generation and energy equitability issues around solar PV. Early this year, the innovative Big Sun Community Solar program was launched to bring more solar to the San Antonio community. Jason currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Energy Poverty Research Institute (TEPRI) and Build San Antonio Green. He holds a BS in engineering from the University of Texas and a MS degree from the McCombs School of Business.
