Scott manages Duke Energy Renewables’ relationships with corporate renewable energy buyers. This includes connecting corporate customers with grid-scale solar and wind projects in Texas and beyond since 2018. Prior to joining Duke he was a Sustainability Specialist at NRG Energy, where he helped businesses implement a wide range of energy technologies to achieve sustainability goals. 

Scott has held prior positions at the Corporate Eco Forum, a by-invitation membership organization for Fortune 500 sustainability executives; and the Council on Foreign Relations, a foreign policy think tank. 

Scott has a Master's in Administration in Sustainable Energy Policy from Columbia University and a BA in International Studies and French from Rhodes College.
